On October 12, 2022, Jerry Huang, Director of Shizu Technologies, and his team visited our institute’s Electronics Research Institute for a technical exchange. Leaders and technical experts from the Electronics Research Institute attended the meeting.
During the meeting, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on tackling carbon peak and carbon neutrality technologies and developing standards. Currently, domestic high-energy-consuming factories face many challenges in reducing unit energy consumption and enhancing corporate competitiveness. Particularly, traditional factories lack precise energy usage data at the equipment and production line levels, detailed calculations of product carbon footprints, refined energy consumption management, problem identification, and timely dynamic equipment control. Moreover, most existing carbon emission monitoring service providers primarily focus on consulting or simple data collection, with weak technical capabilities. Both parties thoroughly discussed the development of an intelligent data collection system to improve the accuracy of data collection in harsh environments such as high dust, high temperature, and high electromagnetic interference in factories through real-time carbon data linkage. Subsequently, they also explored technical solutions for production line-level energy usage data certification, providing new ideas for the Electronics Research Institute to further leverage its testing and calibration technological advantages, thereby supporting Chinese manufacturing enterprises in achieving zero-carbon sustainable development.
